Parking
Parking in Whistler can be challenging due to the influx of visitors during the Winter season in addition to the regular local traffic in the area. There are still some free parking spots (Creekside and Blackcomb) however these do get filled up pretty quickly on busy days and now require reservations for some days of the week. Paid parking spots are also available throughout the resort. Paid parking tends to be more expensive the closer the parking is to gondolas or chairlifts (e.g. Parking under the Pan Pacific Mountainside at Whistler base is right next to the gondolas and lifts and as a result is quite expensive). There are also spots for parking along some roads in the resort area however be sure to check for signs indicating if parking is allowed or rules around parking (e.g. time limits).

New for the 2025/26 season some new rules regarding parking are in place:

Creekside P1 is for carpooling (cars with 4 or more people) and require reservations on weekends and holidays (6-11AM arrival, afterwards not reservation required).

Creekside P2 is for general use and requires reservations on weekends and holidays (6-11AM arrival, afterwards not reservation required).

Creekside P3/4 is for general use and first come, first serve.

Blackcomb Upper Lots 6 & 7 require reservations on weekends and holidays (6-11AM arrival, afterwards not reservation required).

Blakcomb Upper Lot 8 is for general use and first come, first serve.

This is a very popular parking options for both locals and visitors to the resort and as a result can get very busy.

At the end of day it can be difficult to exit given the volume of people attempting to leave (if you are parked there consider either leaving earlier or later to avoid the exit rush).

Depending upon what level your parking spot is, it can be a 2-15 minute walk / stair climb to get to the bottom of the Creekside Gondola.

High Mountain Brewery Pub

The High Mountain Brewery has paid parking underneath its building.

Cost is $15 for the day, $30 for 24 hours.

It is a 10-15 minute walk to the gondolas and chairlift at Whistler base.

Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel

The hotel is right next to Whistler base and so you exit out of the hotel right by the gondolas and chairlift.

Depending upon conditions, you can "ski out" to this parking location from the runs on the Lower Frontside of Blackcomb.
