Whistler Blackcomb offers a variety of winter lift ticket options for visiting skiers and snowboarders. The resort offers a flexible ticketing system where guests can choose from single-day tickets for a quick ski getaway or multi-day passes for a more extended stay. Those seeking unlimited access to the slopes all winter long can purchase season passes that provide unrestricted skiing and riding throughout the season. Additionally, Whistler Blackcomb offers discounted lift tickets for children, seniors, and students and a winter sightseeing ticket option.

The price of lift tickets at Whistler Blackcomb are certainly on the high end (there is no denying it), but the quality, range, and size of the ski area that you get at the resort is well worth it. Whistler Blackcomb is one of the largest ski resorts in North America and offers an amazing skiing experience for your money.

IMPORTANT NOTE - The resort stops selling their Edge Card Passes, WB Season Passes and Epic Passes (which offer the best per-day skiing prices) in early December. After this, guests pay the full day rate for tickets. So, if you are planning on visiting Whistler for any period of time then it is worth it to order a pass before the early December cut off date.

Single-day and Multi-day Lift Tickets

Single day and multi-day lift tickets give you daily access to all lifts and gondolas on Whistler Blackcomb.
These tickets are good for anyone looking for 1-7 days of skiing at the resort.
Lift tickets can be purchased in person at the bottom of the hill or online in advance.
Depending upon the time of year and the number of days of tickets that you buy, buying tickets in advance online gives you a discounted rate.
In some cases, if you book accommodations through Whistler Blackcomb, you may also get a discount on lift tickets if you order them at the same time.
Whistler Blackcomb offers a refund for tickets under certain conditions.

NOTE - Whistler Blackcomb limits the number of day tickets it sells per day and so during peak periods there may be days where tickets are sold out. If possible, if you want to buy day tickets, book them well in advance to ensure that you get tickets for the days that you want.

Winter Sightseeing Tickets

If you are visiting the resort in the winter and just want to take one of the gondolas up to see the upper mountain and/or to take the Peak to Peak across, you can purchase a Winter Sightseeing Ticket. Sightseeing tickets are good for one day and access starts at 10AM after a majority of the skiers and snowboarders have loaded up the mountain.

Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass

The WB Day pass allows a guest to buy up to 10 days of tickets at a discounted rate that can be used in the current season.
The more days you purchase, the great discount you get up to 65% off the cost of a ticket.
The WB Day Pass comes in an unrestricted version and a restricted version.
The restricted version does not allow the guest to ski during peak periods at WB

EDGE Cards

EDGE Card Passes are reloadable lift passes that offer flexibility and savings.
Visitors can choose between a 2, 5 or 10-day EDGE Card and enjoy discounted lift tickets for the selected number of days.
EDGE Cards come with several benefits, including some access in the summer as well as discounts at local shops, restaurants, and hotels.
NOTE: Edge Cards are only available to residents of Canada and Washington State.

Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Season Pass

The Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Season Pass provides you with unlimited access to the slopes throughout the winter season.
These passes are ideal if you plan to ski/board 7 or more days at Whistler Blackcomb.
The pass comes with all sorts of benefits including: Access to some other ski hills, summer lift access, tickets you can use with friends, discounts at other hills and at local shops, restaurants, and hotels.

Epic Pass

Whistler Blackcomb is part of the Epic Pass network, which offers access to multiple ski resorts worldwide.
The Epic Pass provides you with access to Whistler Blackcomb along with other popular destinations, making it a good option for avid skiers and snowboarders who are thinking of visiting other mountains in one season.
The Epic Pass offers the same benefits and resort discounts as the WB Unlimited Season Pass.

Buddy and “Ski with a Friend” Tickets

Some of the passes come with a number of Buddy or “Ski with a Friend” tickets.
Both of these tickets offer different levels of discount on the cost of a day of skiing at Whistler Blackcomb.
The pass holder can purchase these tickets for a buddy or friend online and in-person at Guest Services.
Once purchased, Buddy Tickets and Ski With A Friend Tickets must be picked up by the Pass Holder at the resort by displaying their pass.
To purchase Buddy Tickets or Ski With A Friend Tickets online, a Pass Holder needs to:
- Sign into “My Epic Account” at Epicpass.com
- Click on the “passes” tab
- Navigate to the “benefit tickets” section
- Select the specific day and resort for use after you click on “Buy for a Buddy” or “Buy For a Friend”.
