Symphony Express Chairlift Area

The Symphony Express Chairlift Area is the furthest Southeast ski area on Whistler. It includes the wonderful large open alpine Symphony Bowl with lots of Blue and Black runs and glade skiing options as well as access to the Flute Bowls Area.

The main access route into the Symphony area is down Burnt Stew Trail (Green) from the top of the Harmony Express Chairlift.  Burnt Stew curves down into Symphony and then exits back towards the Harmony Express Chairlift area again.  You can follow Burnt Stew into Symphony Bowl and then branch off onto runs leading into the glades at the bottom of this area such as Jeff’s Ode-to-Joy (Blue) and Adagio (Blue).  Sun Bowl (Black) is another fun route into Symphony when there is good visibility and snow.

This area is ideally suited for intermediate and expert skiers. Advanced beginners can also ski through this area by sticking to Burnt Stew Trail (Green).

NOTE: Much of Symphony Bowl is in the alpine, so this area can be difficult to ski if visibility is poor. The bottom of Symphony can also get very, very busy on a good snow day and most weekends due to the popularity of this area.
